CENTRAL HEATING

Many people are taking central heating for granted, and it plays an important role in people's sense of well-being. In a care environment the central heating is often even more important because of the complexity of systems and the high user intensity.

Calcium deposits and corrosion in central heating systems may cause the equipment to break down. That varies from poorly working systems to damage to boilers, causing a breakdown in the heating system. Calcium deposits may cause stress on metal surfaces and lead to poor heat conduction. This may cause an efficiency loss of up to 20 per cent.
More heating is required in order to reach the required temperature.

Corrosion is another risk for central heating systems. Even though we are dealing with a closed system, oxygen is always present. Oxygen affects the entire unit and corrosion products contaminate the water.

Kalsbeek helps you bring your central heating system in optimal condition and keep it that way.
