COOLING TOWERS

A "wet" cooling tower is an efficient way to cool off heat (e.g. from the air conditioning system). However, the incorrect use of a cooling tower may result in great risks. Because of the presence of vulnerable groups of people, Legionella infection in a cooling tower constitutes a realistic risk.

Also in a technical sense there are a number of matters that have an impact on the effectiveness (and on the costs as a result). That is because the water used and the conditions of the environment are different at different locations. That is the reason why it is important to recalculate and re-assess the water treatment for every cooling tower. There are no standard water treatments to choose from.
