MONITORING THE AIR QUALITY
An offshore location may have a contaminated climate for all sorts of reasons. Specific measurements can help to reasonably accurately identify the cause of contamination. Such objectification of complaints is achieved by measurements of the physical and/or microbiological air quality.

For the investigation into the physical air quality, measurements are taken in respect of the temperature, air humidity and CO2-concentration parameters. These parameters are tested to the guidelines. Using the NEN 7730 standard, calculations are made with regard to the level of comfort in the climate.

For the investigation into the microbiological air quality, air samples are taken and analysed for bacteria, fungi and yeast. The types and quantities of micro-organisms give information about the air quality.

It also gives an insight into the possible complaints that may be raised as a result of the micro-organisms present in the air. Following the test results, you will receive tailor-made and practical advice.
